یہ ہماری بیسویں سالگرہ تھی ۔۔۔ ہم ایک ریستوران میں گئے جہاں پر میں نے اسے میرا بننے کی دعوت دی۔ یہ ایک رومانوی فلم کی طرح لگتا تھا۔ پھول، مہنگی شیمپین (میں یہ خرچ اٹھا سکتا تھا)، وہ ایک جاذب نظر لباس پہنے ہوئے تھی اور میں اپنے سوٹ میں تھا۔۔۔ میرے خیال میں ہر کوئی سمجھتا ہے کہ یہ شام کیسے اختتام پذیر ہو گی۔ لیکن میں ناکام ہو گیا۔ میری بیوی بیڈ میں ننگی لیٹی ہوئی تھی۔ خوبصورت اور جذبات سے مدہوش جیسے وہ 20 سال پہلے ہوتی تھی۔ اور اتنی ہی شہوت انگیز جتنی وہ کئی سال پہلے ہوتی تھی۔ میں اپنی جنسی زندگی کے بارے میں سب تفصیلات نہیں بتانا چاہتا۔ مکمل مایوسی کے ساتھ میں کھڑا ہو گیا اور ایک لفظ بھی کہے بغیر دوسرے بیڈ روم میں جا کر سو گیا۔ یہ سلسلہ 4 سال چلتا رہا۔ لیکن یہ میری اپنی بیوی کے ساتھ علیحدگی اختیار کرنے کی وجہ نہیں بنی یہ ذہن میں رکھتے ہوئے کہ مسائل تو میرے ساتھ تھے۔ ایمانداری سے کہوں تو مجھے اس بات کا ڈر زیادہ تھا کہ وہ مجھے چھوڑ کر کسی نسبتاً جوان مرد کے پاس نہ چلی جائے۔
