Though it comes at a higher price than the ThinkBook, it offers numerous benefits, including snappy Intel Core Ultra 7 155U performance, excellent speakers, and a satisfying typing experience.
The 14-inch anti-glare IPS display covers 71.2% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has an average peak brightness of 326 nits. While it doesn’t match the vibrancy of the HP Spectre x360, it performs well under harsh office lighting. On the Geekbench 6 CPU performance benchmark, the ThinkPad scored a multicore average of 9,519, outperforming the HP Envy x360 2-in-1.

HP Envy x360 2-in-1
For those who prioritize display quality above all else, the HP Envy x360 2-in-1 is a solid choice. While its performance is a bit underwhelming, and battery life is only decent, the Envy shines with its vibrant OLED display.
The screen covers an incredible 136% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and boasts an average peak brightness of 368 nits in SDR mode and 572 nits in HDR mode. If you’re looking for a 2-in-1 laptop that delivers the best in display quality, the HP Envy x360 is a great option, especially at its price point of $699 at Best Buy.
Final Thoughts
In the world of 2-in-1 laptops, display quality should not be an afterthought. A screen that can reach at least 300 nits of brightness is essential, particularly for use in bright environments like offices. If you don’t necessarily need a convertible, other laptops like the MacBook Pro 14 M3, Lenovo Yoga Book 9i, or Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra offer even brighter and more colorful displays.
